I love your enthusiasm for project Orion. I think, even though it’s not the most elegant of solutions to the problem of interstellar travel, it shows that we are capable of creating the technology needed. It is a point of pride and hope and, well, danger too since that same technology fueling those starships can spell both the end or the continuation of mankind. I really liked your article! And yes, I agree, it’s ridiculous we know so much about space and yet know so little about our own oceans which have a huge impact on our environment.
